Lydia and Wickham, growing Unpleasant

We are married, and a new estate awaits us. I have purchased it and take visitors quite often. The visiting of Lydia and Wickham, is possibly becoming an event too often occurring. I do say, even I am growing impatient with the two of them, and I believe their relationship to be built and everything excluding love. It is sad to see a now sister of mine be taken advantage of as so, but she chose that life. I am loving my life, and growing deeper in love with my dearest.

Good Luck to Darcy and Elizabeth

Yes, it is ture, my dear friend plans to marry Ms. Elizabeth Bennet. Though it was difficult to accept, my dear Jane has learned of Elizabeth’s love for the man. Darcy went as far as to ask Mr. Bennet himself. Their love has grown, and it is been formed into a beautiful thing. I wish nothing but the best of luck for the two of them.

Oh, Lady Catherine

It has been a week, and I could not be happier. Jane and I are finally engaged. Jane has told me of the visit by Lady Catherine. In a private engagement between Elizabeth and Lady Catherine, Lady Catherine tells Lizzy that Darcy is planning to marry her. Clearly, there is something going on in the love triangle, but one thing is for certain – my dear friend Darcy loves no one more than Elizabeth Bennet.

To the Bennet's

Darcy and I have recently visited the Bennet’s for dinner, and I must say I did enjoy the engagement. Sitting next to Jane, getting lost in her beauty, reminded me why I am in love with her. Later on in the week, I made another trip to their house alone. Eventually, I found myself alone with Jane, my dearest. This is where I became the happiest man alive. Jane accepted my hand, and I look forward to our life together.

My Return

For a couple weeks, yes, I will return to Netherfield Park. Although I know the Bennets remain uncomfortable with my presence, I hope to possible patch up old wounds. After three long days, I could not wait any longer – so I made my journey to their residence with Mr. Darcy. I will admit I was indeed rude to Mr. Darcy. Even so, before departing, we promised the Bennets we will attend a dinner as Longbourn.

Empathy For Mr. Bennet

I am sorry to hear Mr. Bennet is feeling such pain brought to him through the past events. He surely wished he could have had a son; his current problems would likely not exist. On the contrary, I imagine Mrs. Bennet is feeling a bit the opposite. Her hopes have finally been realized, as one of her daughters – even through a shady scam of her lover, Wickham – is getting married. Even so, I believe the smoke will soon clear.

Wickham's Genius

It has been brought to my attention that Lydia is indeed found. This is glorious news, although I imagine there remain feelings of desertion and anger among the Bennet family. It is troubling to see the mastermind of Wickham performing so well. It as if he plotted this entire thing for money. He requested money from Mr. Bennet to pay for his and Lydia's wedding, as well as his debts to my dearest friend, Darcy.

A Note on Lydia

I have been informed that the search for Lydia and Wickham is thus far unsuccessful. Although Mr. Bennet and Mr. Gardiner have attempted to investigate all the hotels in town, London is an easy hiding place, as there are far more people there than here. Mr. Bennet should not fully blame himself, for it was not entirely his fault. I have not met young Lydia more than a few short moments, but I am aware of her mischievous character. I hope all goes well in their searches for her.
